Carolyn has owned restaurants in New York for over 20 years. Her skills have been refined over the years while working side by side with executive chefs from the Culinary Institute of America. Although she ventures into cooking almost any ethnic dish, her favorite offerings stem from her Italian heritage. Her homemade sauces, stews and soups are loved by all.
Born and raised in NY, Carolyn made the personal choice to relocate to South Harbour to marry her love of cooking with her love of the ocean and beaches. She has been characterized as the 'woman who doesn't sleep', and can typically be found cooking at her restaurants or for family and friends.
Carolyn appreciates a cooking challenge - whether it's bringing her your Mom's recipe and asking her to duplicate it, or whether you have some special dietary needs (Gluten Free, Vegan) - she is up for the challenge.
A recent graduate of Johnson & Wales and Health Department certified, Samantha joined Carolyn (the Owner) as an intern in 2017 and is a full time employee. Samantha makes sure your sweet tooth is satisfied with her homemade desserts and breads. In between baking, Samantha tends to our loyal customers on the phone and in the store and can be found on the weekends at catered events. Behind the scenes, she insures the business has all supplies on hand to meet the daily needs.
We participated in the Count On Me NC training, and we have received the certification that we are taking all necessary measures and precautions to keep everyone healthy and safe.
The menu changes routinely and solves many meal planning challenges. All of our meals are made fresh to order. Meals can be frozen or refrigerated for up to four (4) days. We only prepare meals we are confident will reheat well while maintaining the quality and freshness you deserve.
The menu designed to meet the needs of your event. Let us know your size, the date, and what is important to you. We will collaborate with you to meet your needs and budget. We will create a customized menu (theme, favorite foods) and level of service depending on how much or little you would like us to do (delivered and set up or a staffed catered event).
We offer a wide array of catered meals, hot and cold platters, and varying levels of service - from fully catered, to drop off.
